THE INSTRUMENT

THE TECHNOVATION COMBUSTION MONITOR MODEL FGM is a small portable battery powered gas analyser measuring % OXYGEN, CARBON MONOXIDE readings which are displayed on a 31 /2 Digit, 12mm high LCD. The gas probe is a single copper tube combined with a filter. A rubber connecting hose is provided to connect it to the instrument.

APPLICATIONS

Model FGM is ideal for checking of flue gases of BOILERS, FURNACES, CEMENT KILNS OR HEATERS for excess air or un-burnt combustibles condition to increase combustion efficiency. Model FGM can also be used for checking the calibration of on line equipment or substitute for it semi continuously with certain precautions. Model FGM can serve at any required spot in the plant or for laboratory use, being portable and quick and easy to use. The fuel/air ratio is optimum when CO indication just becomes present from a no CO situation after a small reduction in air supply. The fuel/air ratio can be fine-tuned as the operator reads O2 and CO simultaneously keeping both CO & O2 to a practical minimum to optimize combustion.
