Technovation offers such an industry standard 4-20mA transmitter consisting of an electrochemical sensor, its associated circuitry and in a Ex-Proof housing and Ex-proof Sensor head. FEATURES The two-wire transmitter with a local display for measured parameter value allows the signal and power to be supplied on a single wire-pair by modulating the power supply current with the input signal source. The transmitter is immune to voltage drops from long runs and noise from motors, relays, actuators, switches, transformers and industrial equipment.

THE INSTRUMENT These Single Point Wall Mounted Instruments work on 18-24VDC and have a PESO certified Ex proof sensor housing fitted on an Ex-proof Junction box. They use an IP 55 enclosure for the electronics as standard. They are provided with two alarms both audible and visual along with relays and output of 4 20 mA. They are meant for continuous operation of area monitoring with continuous read out, plus vital status indicators FEATURES Type of sensors that can be connected are Electrochemical, NDIR, Pellistor, and Thermal conductivity depending on gas and application. – Three Wand operated keys. – Two Alarms audible and Visual along with acknowledge and reset buttons, both set points viewable from front face using a wand. – One Fault alarm – One NO, C, NC potential free relay contact per alarm – 4-20 mA Output for PLC, DCS etc. – Explosion proof hooter-flasher. FEATURES The three-wire transmitter allows the power and signal to be realized on a three-core wire. One core for positive supply of 12 to 24 VDC, the second core for the 4 to 20 mA output and the third core for the 0 volt supply. The transmitter is immune to voltage drops from long runs and noise from motors, relays, actuators, switches, transformers and industrial equipment.
